Employee Sentiments

Anyone else feel like everyone is just forcing themselves to work? The only motivation is keeping your job and doing the better minimum, not going above and beyond. Why would anyone push themselves further? Not sure how the company will ever excel when the culture consists of people that don't give af

The Deutsche Telekom/Sprint hacks spend all day figuring out who they're going to terminate next, everyone's wondering who's next on the chopping block, they give you more work and less help, and everyone wonders why the culture has gone down the drain.

it's like working in a torture chamber... They got rid of like 75% of the company and then put all that work on the remaining 25% and then piled on more work with cybersecurity and projects related to forcing customers on new plans... Sc--w these a holes in charge

Every day is a struggle to find a good reason to go to work and continue to put forth effort when so many decisions made at the upper levels have destroyed working processes and erased institutional knowledge without any real plan to move forward. VPs & Directors seem to kick the can down hill at the people doing the actual work and complain why their hastily designed new organizations aren’t working as they promised their bosses. They can’t accept the truth that all the improvements they sold to the C-suite that looked amazing in their PowerPoint presentations are fantasy at best.

I agree on doing the bare minimum. I do my work then check out. Mountains of work with little to no payoff. Constant restructuring. Firing entire teams we actually need with no backstop on who or how that work will be done. They're throwing all this money at AI firing left and right because 'oh the AI will just do it'. Set up for failure I tell you. Spinning wheels, building wealth for shareholders.

@cj I agree. Moral is low (there's a bunch of folks without Morals running the company) and Morale is low (no body wants to work).

Company and employee moral is VERY low right now. Every time these SLTs get on stage and do their song and dance saying we had the "HIGHEST GROWTH" "MADE THE MOST MONEYYY" yet we're cutting corners, laying of folks left and right, budgets are dwindling, working with skeleton crew. Highest growth for you? Nobody is listening to any of them anymore.
