He didn't know how to build a team. Nor did his predecessor but that can be made up for by strong managers.

We'll see how it works under OD, fingers crossed.

@2jkc+1rJIsqmh, what are you talking about? JP was a lot of things and not in a good way. But wasn’t a bible thumper. Not even close.

First KR, then JP, but OD will be the one to run this ship into the bridge. The definition of incompetence. I thought the company banished him to a useless role on the tower side.

Where and how were you all getting bullied by this guy? Yeah, he could phrase things with a little more empathy but how on earth were you feeling bullied?

Good riddance. Trash from day 1. Guy’s business plan was “bully the he-l out of everyone in front of me” while holding a bible. Total d-bag A-hole. Hope the door does hit him in the A** on the way out and knocks him over on his face.

Should not be stopping at just the VP for Central. Managers and up in basically any department from this region should be let go for letting standards and culture slide so much without ever coming out of their offices.

It was a mess before but the production was so low it was easy to cover it. We're seeing that in most markets right now. Enough people were able to slide for a long time but poor performances are coming to light.

Well the last girl that ran central got promoted and central was a mess when she ran it. Yet she gets a promotion while JP gets the can? There has to be something more to it than just region performance.

I heard he was the worst. I don’t know he lasted so long when the central was a mess for so long.

This guy was terrible at his job. It is not surprising that he made it this far, Crown Castle has a very high tolerance for leaders who underperform. One thing that always bothered me about his situation (very poor results aside) was that he lived in Miami but ran the Central. A few months ago 1,500 people were designated to Houston because “Us together is better”, yet this guy has a free pass to do as he pleases. Typical of Crown when it comes to their leaders, do as I say not as I do.

His team is failing at every metric, it was a matter of time. That region has been a problem for years, most likely f the leadership needs to go based on performance alone.

The investigation is of the fiber business as a whole. People just muddied up the conversation with cactus chatter.

So what was the reason for the firing? Or did he resign?

Smiling from ear to ear on hearing of this news. Glad his time finally came as he's a piece of s**t and I feel for the people that had to work under him. Now it's time to seriously evaluate the upper management in S. FL where he came from. The VP that hired him has a tendency of hiring and promoting horrible candidates and tormenting good people to horrible leadership.

@dro+1rJIsqmh, yeah I can be much better than that but I wouldn't be as funny

How is it that JP gets canned over DP? So much for the big "investigation".

We got the sh-t end of the stick by getting OD. Can't believe that guy is back on the fiber side. We're gonna be wishing for JP back.

JP was bad enough in the south, total disaster in central. Good riddance to that fearmonger.

He may just be a placeholder while they find a long term replacement.

They have 3 strong RVPs if they need to spread the load they can.
