4 day in office

I’m hearing rumblings that we are moving to a 4 days in office. Is it true and do you think it’s for a short period of time

Its happening, not a rumor Go look up the Ops Risk Town Hall on Teamworks. They mention they are implementing it for them come Jan 1st. So basically its being slowly rolled out. Also, heard rumbling OC+1s got hourly reports. Coffee ba----g days will come to end soon too.

@eq Seems your MD is in the dark or protecting the news. It's happening.

They think we can still all fit. And let's be honest, no idy is really at capacity. I've walked many neighborhoods and there are nearly full as people say. Maybe on a particular day, but they'll be expected to spread out the days

CR Director here; I asked my MD and he said there was no truth to that rumor, especially since seating is at capacity now with the 3-day requirement.

@ax I've heard it from a couple places like CPG and OC+1.

@ay it’s not your responsibility at all to prop up the economy. But it is good for local economy for us to be more in office.

That said, would be interesting to understand if spending is just shifting from suburbs to uptown.

Like a poster said on another thread, submit the question asking if 4 days is coming for Scharfs town hall tomorrow. The More questions he gets the more he’ll have to address it.

@a8

Not my responsibility to prop up local businesses. I won't spend a dime there.

It's happening across the board. Just got word. It's not LOB based.

That would be very "resistant to change" of them. Last I heard that was a career ender, so...

So much for Charlie saying hybrid work was an advantage.

Definitely permanent.

Eventually they are going to start tracking every breathe we take, and every move we make. They’ll be watching.

Don’t talk about hours in office, don’t talk about 4 days a week.

This site is monitored.

The more you complain the more likely it is to happen to drive attrition.

@a8 There is going to be such limited seating. We struggle on busier days in the office.

So you think this is a permanent change?

It’s gonna happen. Question is when. It’s good for local businesses.
