It's not only the number of days you are in the office but how many hours per day. Reports are being run with that information and have been for 2 months now. People who are not spending enough time in the office are subject to being written up and then termination. It won't be a layoff with severance. For those who don't stay more than an hour or two (and definitely for those who badge in and back out in the same hour) of course that's your choice to do that but be prepared that you may be put on a performance plan and/or terminated.

They aren't and almost can't track hours on a mass scale because there are too many unknowns. Those unknowns won't really allow them to put anyone on corrective action unless witnessed in person. It's too risky. However, if your manager witnesses some "inappropriate" behavior, then good luck. Also, don't be an id--t and try to bypass badging in, etc. Most entrances at the big campuses have cameras. We've already received a mass communication about badging in for others, etc.
Not true, they can track hours but aren’t unless there is some underlying suspicion or issue. I am a manager of a large team with managers. They are more concerned with people going into other locations than they are about hours. I have people who leave the office after 3-4 hours and it’s not a problem. My boss, an exec, does this and has since we RTO’d 2 years and 3 months ago.
@exa are you referring to the Wachovia buildings where you have to go through prison man-traps just to get in the lobby?
For those people saying you don't badge out and being snarky sh-----d know-it-alls about it - for many WF buildings you do have to badge out but they also know how long you were directly connected to the network.
I have heard nothing from my manager about this. I go in for 2-3 hours when I go in. There’s no reason for me to go at all since everyone I work with doesn’t live in my hub city-they live in a different hub city so we are all teams meetings anyway. If I get the word, I’ll figure it out, but it’s just a silly game.
My manager confirmed that is true. We were told we have to be in the office at least 6 hours or we will be on the naughty list.
Most buildings don’t require a badge out, but nice try…
How are they tracked? You don't badge out...
