UAW has to realize D3 auto companies are one recession away from bankruptcy. Federal govt debt to GDP ratio is 130% and feds have no leverage to borrow and help auto industry should a recession occur.

Most likely salary workers will still get the same holidays, i.e. the Thursday & Friday for Thanksgiving, and the entire week of Christmas off.
