It’s standard practice at most companies to fire employees immediately for any conduct related to criminal activity, regardless of whether it occurred during working hours.
To date, there has been no indication of any disciplinary action towards the SVP who was arrested on felony charges last week. Anybody have a good theory as to why? I personally think the company is looking for a way to get rid of him without paying out severance or being sued by him.
The longer they stay quiet, the greater the risk that they lose control of the narrative.
