With all these crazy hours cuts, it’s only a matter of time before something happens. Just what I’m not sure. Perhaps hours get cut so much, that there will be accidental layoffs. As in sorry we don’t have any hours for you this week, and people quit. If they quit, even due to lack of hours, then it’s not a lay-off, and corporate doesn’t look bad. Optics my friends, optics. Or, enough people quit, and a store has to close due to lack of personnel. Closing a store due to lack of available employees, is not a corporate store closing. Again optics my friends.
