Face it. The company is trying to do whatever they can to cut costs. That includes forcing out experienced techs/reps/inside/outside and replacing with new hires that do not know anything. Turnover is high so you have the inexperienced training the inexperienced and wonder why mistakes are being made. Vendors are a complete joke as well!

They are hiring in Florida and they get paid less but have better hours and take the same calls it’s just b—s— and a way to make those that get paid $11 per hour more to quit so they can hire the lower wage workers smh just sad

If the union members knew how to run a company they would, but they don’t, so they won’t, ....there is only so much advice you can take from union employees as their focus is for their own benefit, not the owners. I will grant you that it appears frontier management has made som terrible decisions all on their own. Look on the bright side....the market will force frontier to sell off most of their markets and assets before too long and most will wind up working for someone else. Though I doubt it will be under a union flag. There are too many non union companies that are more efficient and will simply outperform frontier

If only there was a group or association of people who worked in telecom, that would choose to organize and start their own telecom business and be employee owned. After all, that group would have all the technical man power, skill sets to operate, engineer and maintain a network. You know, i bet there would even be some sales folks in that group that would know how to run a sales department. I mean i keep,hearing how its all upper managements fault and the employees could run it better.........and yet oddly....they dont do,that... even though there competition is incompetent and they would be taking all the best workers, and they would put each other first...they just dont seem to do,that......you might call that ironic,
Your attitudes are built on the premise you are owed somthing. You received a paycheck for the service you provided, if you didnt like it, then you should have changed careers.
Trust me when I say that everything will get better when we sign the new contract. By not selling video, Frontier will be more profitable and will be able to re-invest in the company. Bottom line is that everyone needs to stay positive and please keep paying your union dues.

Not anymore,just a paycheck,they have tied our hands and are trying to micro manage everything,we have lost ability to talk face to face to some departments and have lost access to systems we used ,which now you are dependent on another dept.(if they call you back) to do what you could on your own,adds alot of wasted truck rolls and time,
,NOT very profitable way to conduct a business

The sh–ty attitudes are owned by the people who gave a damn about the company and its assets. Those who have been around for decades are upset by Frontiers business practice and the customer base that has left because of it. Some are so close to retirement that it is not an option to leave and start over somewhere else. Anyone who needs 5+yrs to retire is screwed.....

the company doesnt exist to,provide you a job. It exists to make shareholders (owners) a profit. You getting a job in the process is just a benefit. If you approach it as the company owes you something you will be very disappointed. A good manager will find a way to show appreciation to his employees/team, but the company as a whole isnt your buddy. Your labor,is a product they purchase. If you dont like what they offer, find someone who will pay you what you think you are worth. My guess is you will find out how easy it is to replace you with someone who wants to work. Reading these pages, I see so many sh–ty attitudes and poor expectations on what a job is.....
I remember wayyyyy back when our training classes use to be a good 3 to 4 months long. Now its 30 min webcast and you expect us to grasp anything?? Bring brack better training classes!!!
When you say other work groups are not working are you implying construction work group?
The inexperienced training the inexperienced,,,,,, So they're being trained by current management is what you're trying to say.
They want one man out for fiber and copper in Florida but still expect everyone to make productivity. Currently short staffed and losing more techs next year but no word on hiring or moving other techs to the busy work groups. Fiber and copper techs being over worked while other work groups do nothing all day.
Great utilization of the work force.
They hire in our union, but we dont have many people, and just as many leaving.

Didn't know Frontier was hiring, just thought it was going under at a fast pace.
