Some companies utilize the term limited restructuring.

Fire employees for non-performance related issues, while replacing them with temp workers or cheap foreign labor. A few VPs receive enormous bonuses.

None of the above..... It is called "RIF'd..Reduction In Force. Examples: "I got Rif'd.." , "They are going to RIF 3K in Marketing"
