Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Revising the criteria for coming back to the office.. hmm

Did anyone notice they revised the criteria and removed the requirement to have a decline in positive tests? Now it’s in a more vague category. I wonder if this means they’re gonna go forward with stage 3 even with an increase in positive cases... Sneaky

The phased approach of bring employees back to work is bogus. This is the reason WHY:

FACT : There are in fact more people infected with the virus now in San Ramon compared with when sheltering in place was started.

The city has basically decided to sacrifice lives in order to bring the economy back.

Actually it looks like they are still using the same metric of positive cases, but also in conjunction with others like hospital beds, testing availability, etc. to allow health group assess situation based on more metrics not less. This sounds better to me. Some of these states going wrong direction now used Only a single metric to re-open. Here in Houston Chevron has been much more cautious than Exxon, Philips 66 and others that pushed a lot of people back to office weeks ago.

If that is true, it really is c-appy! I had more faith in them than that...almost proud. I hope they don’t get stupid! What are the chances?

Yes. Shady, very poorly explained, bad timing, but more flexibility for them to do as they please with appropriate cover.
