Wonder how or if recent events in the US (BLM and such) will impact Selections. Talk about a no-win situation for the selection team members! If a large portion of minorities is selected, reverse discrimination claims and if a large portion of minorities is not selected, perceived discrimination.
Also wonder how those who are posting on Workplace and non work social media to show support (both minorities and non-minorities) will be perceived during selections. I would venture that most of selection members are of the silent non-racist ilk, and we all know they like to bring out their bias when it comes who they think is “best” for the job.
