I have always wondered why John Chambers left Cisco.
What I wondered is:
If they did NOT want him (John Chambers) to buy MPLS companies anymore?
If not, why did he leave?
MPLS stands for the initials:
- * Mario Mazzola, "the M"
- * Prem Jain, "the P"
- * Luca Cafiero, "the L"
- * and Soni Jiandani. "the S"
These four people started a few startup companies that Cisco bought (repeatedly).
Does Cisco continue to buy companies founded by those four people?
Ironically, MPLS also stands for Multi Protocol Label Switching.
(So that must be an inside joke, at Cisco, I guess. - hahaha, I get it.)
