The houly rate in MX is about 15% (guess) of what it is in US. This has nothing to do with doing your job well and correct and going above and beyond. The CEO doesn't want to pay US workers because they cost too much. He does know what it takes to make parts and doesn't care. And doesn't care about workers other than himself.
Supervisors and managers are normally told they won't get their raises until they've completed their team reviews - not that they should expect to get a raise next year.
They will send the 103 machinists to mexicali to train their replacements. They will make all kinds of promises to keep you employed elsewhere at engines after you return. They didnt learn their lesson after TFE turbine wheel fiasco.
Perhaps if you did your job they wouldn't have been forced to outsource the work? Dunno, just saying.....
