You basically have three options to choose from. You can continue to complain and make a fuss and be generally miserable at your job. Or you can continue to work hard and try to get some satisfaction from knowing you're giving it your best. Or you can work on your skills and make yourself more competitive in the job market so you can leave AT&T for greener pastures. For the life of me, I can't figure out why so many of you don't choose the third option.

I didn’t realize the time I spent on my undergrad degree and grad degree along with my experience were useless and therefore preclude me from criticizing the company. When did I say I have disdain for T? Criticism = disdain? I believe our execs are a joke for sure.
I am not fortunate I have a paycheck. I earned it and continue to everyday I do my work very well if I may add. If you believe paychecks happen by luck then you should examine your self-worth.
Sine you mention complain what should people do when our CEO was the chief architect behind multiple failed mergers, rakes in millions and the folks that do the work continue to lose benefits? Let’s forget about the benefit losses but how about large amount of work we all now shoulder because John believes surplussing is the answer to his missteps.
People are vetting frustrations. To me this entire thread is a joke and decided to troll because literally the early responses are complaining about complainers. Do you not see the irony? Also, there are so many assumptions that it’s difficult to take those folks seriously. Just because people complain doesn’t mean they are miserable. Working hard getting satisfaction from your job and complaining are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
Not even gonna address your comment about point because like I said you didn’t and don’t get it.

No company does everything wrong or right. Businesses everywhere are struggling to survive. I can’t think of a worse time than now to sling mud at the employer that provides a paycheck for you and your family, if you are blessed to have one. Perhaps consider how fortunate you are now, today while so many have so much less. Seriously.

@1dcs+19e3RWSE OK. So you don't know what passive aggressive is. Passive aggressive is when you avoid conflict and only criticize someone indirectly (like back-handed compliments). The poster was just being aggressive (and they were correct, too, by the way).
People have invested years of energy here and want their voice to be heard. Voicing grievances that may lead to organized change is a solid option. How do you think Sarah Blackwell found her whistleblowers for that wonderful segment on Tucker Carlson?

See what I did there. Just to help you out none of my comments have been passive aggressive. They have been pretty straight forward and borderline aggressive so you get the point.

Got to love all the white knights here coming to ATT's defense. People put in as much effort as the company values them. All the posters saying don't come here and complain or get another job miss the point. I feel ATT doesn't value us. My manager and my org chart does but as a whole we are just #s to ATT.

Agree. The juvenile name calling is unnecessary and not even funny, unless you’re in middle school. The site could provide useful info on rumors regarding layoffs; instead it’s mostly a site for disgruntled, sad commentary that’s useful to none.

Proudly stating you’re collecting ‘your money’ while doing the bare minimum doesn’t make you sound professional. It makes you sound like a lazy slackard. And do yourself a favor—drop the immature name calling (‘Stinky’). How old are you? Eight?
I agree with the poster who essentially said these types of posters are a variation of the same complaints repeated over and over. The verbiage is a tell-tale sign. My guess is that some are angry former employees, never worked at the company, or uses the platform simply to spread nonsense. If they truly do work for the company, they should leave and find a more suitable place of employment, run by people like themselves.
I think there is a small core of repeat posters who washed out of AT&T and can't move on. We get different variations of the same thing over and over again.
Hmmm, it's hilarious that we have one guy who says he's a professional contrasted with all the other people in the thread, who are proud of the fact that they are just soaking up money.

I'm with you OP. These complainers are boring, boring, boring. They can go back in the holes they crawled out of. In fact, betting that most/many don't even work for AT&T and they're just here to create issues. If you hate AT&T so much, just leave. We'll all be the better for it.
