Curious what other employees know about employee monitoring levels at chevron?
I imagine that, if the company really wanted to, they could technically and legally monitor anything and everything that occurs on company-owned devices (Keys pushed, buttons clicked, emails, chats, phone calls, current locations, perhaps even live camera and microphone access). However, I am more curious about what is done in practice and on a regular basis. Not what occurs in one-off situations for emergencies or when a device is stolen or when an employee is suspected of wrongdoing or on a serious legal investigation.
What is level of monitoring is done on a regular basis by supervisors, managers, and HR? Perhaps, broad activity levels like time when an employee logged in or logged off for the day, mouse and keyboard activity levels, total hours logged in per day, etc...?
