@2piw: You wrote “The only reason to work at nike is for the campus life. Parties, meeting famous athletes, awesome gyms, playing soccer, what 5 bars! and a ton of food choices!”
In other words you think the only reasons to work at Nike are things that...have nothing to do with any actual “work”. Interesting confession on your part.
I’m glad you have time to play soccer, go to parties, and otherwise “bro” your way through the work day. However many of us don’t have that same luxury. We have massive amounts of actual work to do and trying to complete that work in the circus environment you just described is not at all easy. Which is exactly why we’d prefer to work from home where we can actually be productive when we’re not constantly surrounded by, well...people just like you.
I know you didn’t mean to serve as an ironic advertisement for why so many people want to continue working from home but I appreciate it all the same.
By the way it isn’t even remotely true that any other company will pay more than Nike. Maybe for your job that’s true but there are plenty of other roles at Nike where the pay is at or near top of market. If that surprises you then maybe you should entertain the idea that all the things you “know” just aren’t so.
