The entire BTC concept is bound for failure, added hundreds of BTC XOM employees, ramping up expats while the hundreds of MSPs are doing most of the work, sounds like a winner right? Remember BTC produces zero profit unless you count the “value captures”, also remember the entire BTC/MSP Cost are billed out to business units. So even more over head for the actual business units to carry.
In addition, BTC employees now see the evils of the “new” assessment cycle. Those who survive will be fighting for the slim chance of an expat assignment and/or multiple business trips which most were promised during recruitment. How’s that working out?
Combine all of the above with a weak, self centered leadership team and what do you get? Certain, prolonged failure.
