@1xjg - Hey OP. Assuming you really are a director, are you just here for a good laugh and then go back to pushing people to the brink at work? Because that is what you are told to do and your hands are tied. Or do you actually care and could you possibly be planning some action to try to make things a little better? As an individual contributor, IMHO Managers, Sr Managers, Directors, Sr Directors do not seem to take action, just in survival mode like the rest. Communications only flow one direction, top to bottom, and talking up the chain is like talking to a wall. Talk to the hand, shut up and get back to work. People quit, retire, RIF, PIP and no one seems to care; all we hear is "You guys gotta figure out how to make it happen." Let me ask - Does pushing someone really hard actually help get something done, actually have some benefit?
