Quit. Any Way to Get My Pension As Lump Sum?

I quit XOM in 2012, when I left I recall my pension was some d-mb amount like $200/month. I woukd rather take it as a lump sum now. Is that possible? Who would I call?

I believe you have to opt for the lump sum within the first 90 days or something...best to call the Benefits line to be sure.

Hoping it works out for you! I still get pension updates from the company I left 25 years ago and I was able to pull the money out in a lump sum years after I had left, so fingers crossed you’ll be able to work it out with xom.

Maybe, I know someone that left in 2015-16 that was offered the buyout but it wasn’t widely publicized until 2020.
