Popular opinion

You shouldn’t have to share with your employer what medical decisions you have made or not made. Do not comply.

When the Colorado dries up, all of the Angelenos and Phoenicians will be huddling together for warmth under the roadside snow fences in Wyoming.

@6hvu: By the time Colorado dries up, COVID will have done its Idaho job and it will be wide open again.

The Feds are pretty good at relocating folks into Oklahoma.

hey, we're going to need Idaho for when the Colorado dries up. LA and PHX are going to have to go somewhere.

I hear the Fed's Covid end game plan is to round up the non-vaxxed, ship them to Idaho, and lock the state up from the outside.

The measles vaccine is effective at preventing the disease, is exceptionally safe, and is often delivered in combination with other vaccines. Vaccination resulted in an 80% decrease in deaths from measles between 2000 and 2017, with about 85% of children worldwide having received their first dose as of 2017. Measles affects about 20 million people a year, primarily in the developing areas of Africa and Asia. It is one of the leading vaccine-preventable disease causes of death. In 1980, 2.6 million people died of it, and in 1990, 545,000 died; by 2014, global vaccination programs had reduced the number of deaths from measles to 73,000. Despite these trends, rates of disease and deaths increased from 2017 to 2019 due to a decrease in immunization.

Of the three strains of WPV, the last recorded wild case caused by type 2 (WPV2) was in 1999, and WPV2 was declared eradicated in 2015. Type 3 (WPV3) is last known to have caused polio in 2012, and was declared eradicated in 2019.

Thanks to the success of vaccination, the last natural outbreak of smallpox in the United States occurred in 1949. In 1980, the World Health Assembly declared smallpox eradicated (eliminated), and no cases of naturally occurring smallpox have happened since.

And what is happening?

@5dby - Vaccine is not a magic force field that keeps viruses out of your body. It simply boosts your natural defenses so you don't get severely sick or die. 80%+ of those currently hospitalized are unvaccinated.

Simple question: If the vaccine works then explain what’s happening?

So either the virus is fake and none of this matters, or we should just say f--k it and let it k--l everyone it will k--l. Open everything up, stop the research. The sooner the better. Let G-d sort them out right?

It would be better for everyone's health if we had monitoring on all of our health metrics and use it to allow/deny access to certain foods and activities that are deemed high risk based on your health profile. Think about how we could end obesity, certain mental health problems, issues with alcohol and all of the downstream effects. In fact, by criminalizing activity that goes against our collective health (i.e. eating that big mac when your cholesterol and fat levels are out of compliance) - we can ensure that the hospitals are not overwhelmed. If for some reason we can't criminalize it, no problem. Instead we will just mandate that companies be heavily regulated/fined if they don't require these of their employees. That way, by using the "private" employer that we have leverage over, we've got a back door to say it's voluntary. No laws or rules are really being implemented making individual citizens criminals - you just can't work at certain private businesses that you volunteer to be a part of. Really it's a great prevention strategy. All of the science indicates what I'm suggesting would work great to our benefit. All you have to do is get 100% of people to agree. Trust me. It would be great.

IMHO, Intel has done a pretty good job trying to balance things with the vax. We’re just at a point where they’re powerless to fight the government. I’m fine with people continuing on their own, I hope they succeed. But I can’t blame the company at this point. We need to decide as a country if one person can mandate a personal health decision (by preventing your ability to earn a living). It’ll be interesting if the answer is “yes” as that’ll be the death nail for ab-----n…

Testing on hold, whole thing on hold, but they want to go ahead and collect your address for IF they need to send you tests, and get you to admit in a questionnaire that you aren’t planning to take the vax….. its creepy and sets them up to retaliate at focal, even if the mandate goes down in legal flames.

If they can ask about your vaccination status how about how fat you are, how much you drink, smoke, stds, who you are sleeping with… where does it end?

Not sure how they do this in a fair way. Can’t be selective based on religion that would be discriminatory. Maybe just allow people who are at risk for side effects etc.

If I speak in the tongues of men and
of angels, but have not love, I am
only a ringing gong or a clanging
cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy
and can fathom all mysteries and all
knowledge, and if I have absolute
faith so as to move mountains, but
have not love, I am nothing. If I give
all I possess to the poor and exult
in the surrender of my body, but have
not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does
not envy, it does not boast, it is not
proud. It is not rude, it is not self-
seeking, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no account of wrongs. Love takes
no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in
the truth. It bears all things,
believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things.

Love never fails. But where there are
prophecies, they will cease; where
there are tongues, they will be
restrained; where there is knowledge,
it will be dismissed. For we know in
part and we prophesy in part, but when
the perfect comes, the partial passes
away.

When I was a child, I talked like a
child, I thought like a child, I
reasoned like a child. When I became a
man, I set aside childish ways. Now we
see but a dim reflection as in a
mirror; then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know
fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith,
hope, and love; but the greatest of
these is love.

I realized it was wrong of me to hope some abrasive people on this page don’t comply. That’s not good for society. Don’t comply because it’s what the government says to do. Comply because it helps you, your neighbor, and all of us. No one is winning any political points by making this mandate; consider why it’s being done.

It states that HIPPA laws doesn’t apply here since this is private employee information that you’re sharing with Intel - so, DON’T upload your vac status, DON’T take the weekly tests. The Fed contractor excuse just got shot down by Fed judge today and that applies nationwide. They have absolutely no basis to force the mandate nor nor force you to weekly screening.

I doubt most of us can afford lawyers that can compete with the corporate counsel. It's true that all of this is an invasion of medical privacy, but rightly or wrongly I think these powerful companies do not care about replacing anyone. They won't hesitate to protect themselves. Be careful and think about your family and others.

Do not comply, this is a scare tactic from the Chief Po-p Officer. Notice they won't terminate you, but rather put you on unpaid leave. They give you 2 weeks to submit for med/religious accommodation but will take 2 whole months to review your request! I think that's plenty of time to submit your lawsuits.

The company should make its portion of the health insurance premium contingent on vaccination status. Talk is cheap - let the clowns put their money where their mouth is.

Maybe they will just fire anyone who can't follow the factory protocol. Or move them into HR if they are special.

Amazing it will take until December 15 to come up with a process for exemptions. By this time it is very, very late. This may be a factor in many lawsuits later on.

@1hbs the Koreans in Texas are hiring. Unvaccinated Americans have to don a bunny suit, HEPA, and a Dryden in the airlock outside the lobby before they badge in. Easy-peasy- follow the protocol, work in the factory.

@1cyg OR, AZ, and NM are all blue son. Pull your head out. Look at Israel if you want to see a red state handle vaccinations. After you catch your breath, maybe pay attention to what the Israeli government does with it's citizen's medical data.

I'm vaccinated but won't be disclosing my status. I'm prepared to walk if it becomes a mandate. It's un-American to tie one's ability to provide for themselves to a medical decision. Maybe Intel will start regretting setting up shop in Red States when there's a full-on rebellion in the fabs.
