Yeah, I was on a meeting where the leadership called anyone who couldn't get the jab people "with the cooties".
Another person I know was asked... should we even bother training you if your not going to stand behind Cisco's policies?
Basically had her manager threaten her job because she had a deeply held religious belief and didn't want the shot.
Its rather disgusting what leadership has allowed and maybe even encouraged to proliferate.
I was informed by another leader that they were told to immediately shut down any conversations about the accomodations if they came up in meetings.
If that is your required policy - what do you expect to happen but discrimination and pain?
And many people I know that put in a "confidential" accomodation request - have had it outted to thier team in one way or another and are now team pariahs. Heard everything from people being pushed out of meetings (no longer being invited) to being heckled by thier co-workers on a daily basis.
Interesting opposite effect though too - several groups have organized and are gaining membership and momentum and have created super supportive communities. I've personally found a few new friends I thought I'd never have much in common with. Strange times.
