I could have written this. I too had enough and said goodbye. Not that I can afford it, but I need 6 months to get rid of years of this at IBM. Shame on me for staying so long. Within 3 days of leaving I felt a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders. Never looking back. Suck it.
When you realize the executives are stealing all the money that you generated and earned, its time to leave.

I can check all of those off besides 4, 10, and 11. I'm not putting in the work and coasting because I hate the job I have now as well as my back stabbing co-workers who are "skilled" by anointment (young and IBM says so) -- not because they have any education or experience. Remote will stay OK. I have an interview this afternoon. Fingers crossed.
Most are going to AWS/
So they are ok with the way Amazon treats their warehouse employees?
Sad.
IBMers are leaving in droves, including DEs, Fellows, and other bands 9 and 10 who are making the big bucks at IBM... that tells you everything you need to know. Time to quit this awful company! Most are going to AWS, especially since AWS double their salaries.
I got 10 out of 15. As if I didn't know already it was time to quit.
