Management choices

When will management finally notice that it is some within their own ranks that are ki----g this company. It amazes me that after the financial struggles we just went through and the continued low morale of employees that managers are still getting away with making business decisions to stroke their own egos vs. doing what’s truly best for the success of their organization and the company. It’s as if most employees are here just to execute the poor decisions of management vs management listening to and trusting what their teams are trying to tell them.

It makes sense why they are looking at MSP’s and contractors again, so they can just have a bunch of bodies do the work they want done vs. having employees that want to be a part of the strategic decision making that could go against their opinions.

But hey, kudos to management that will once again spend more money on outside people, become less efficient, and do it all for the sake of telling Dallas that they were able to support in getting headcount down. If the goal is to drive shareholder value, some managers sure have have a funny way of doing so!!!

Same here in Baton Rouge. Engineering is at an all time low. Most all knowledge and good folks have left. The worst manager has been transferred out but we have the horrible group leads she left us with and the poor managers remain.

@OP - they will NEVER realize, because they think they are the best of the best. The 1%'ers. Anything that ever goes wrong with this company is the fault of the individual contributor employees. Either they need more training, more control systems in place, or they are just poor performers who need to be removed.

But it is the external consultants telling the Bigs what to do, which filters on down like a telephone game. Durwood sed to Nick who sed to Rose who sed to Bob who sed.

Workers are lazy thieves, is the final message in the telephone game.
And believe it if you want to get paid, ladder-climber.

Funny thing is:
The original message from the mcKrazy external consultant board was this:
"Workers are lazy thieves."

All works out, right?

At the O&A Chemical plant in Beaumont Management never listens to nor do they trust us. The moral has declined succinctly due to this and the massive amount of overtime which leads to less family time. Hiring more people and leaving them in that job would be a blessing for this site. They hire one then pull Three to do some little good for nothing projects just to show their get things done. The communication and transparency at this place S#@%S. Your opinion does not matter here especially is it does not line up with THEY and THEM. This makes you a non-team player and how dare you think your two cents' counts.
