Building on other posts, what is the average demograpic of a Drake or Travis Scott fan?
Most are single dudes in the 17 to 25 age range. And they don't care if their favorite artist is groping teens and flexing about cash, cars, g-ns, and ho-s. In fact, that group probably celebrates and is envious of that lifestyle.
So what is the average demograpic of a Nike employee at WHQ?
I'm guessing it's mid-to-late 30s, married with children, and with a high percentage being women.
If that's the case, who was JDI Day for? Employees? Or for Nike to use it as a marketing opportunity to their real audience, people under 30, mostly in the 18 to 25 range, who buy Nike's overpriced kicks and t-shirts?
Pair that with the disorganized mess during the day and you see where the real investment was. The money went towards st-----g the ego of endorsement athletes, vapid celebrities, and top executives. Not for celebrating the hard work of employees.
I was looking forward to JDI Day, but came away feeling like I never want to go to another Nike event. The current leadership team is just so out of touch with the rank and file, which makes me disappointed and feeling unappreciated.
