Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

There are still many top performers here

Don't kid yourself - Top performers aren't immune to layoffs. In fact, they are oftentimes targeted because they tend to be the highest earners on a team. The bank is notorious for getting rid of top earners and replacing them with younger workers at reduced pay. Managers are also intimidated by top performers. (Competence is always a hazard to an incompetent manager.) Here's a hint to stay off the radar: Run in the middle of the pack, and don't make waves. It also helps to have a godfather.

Pulled from thread +1jyrxCrq. Isn't it interesting that despite the fact that we all know that top performers are by no means immune to cuts and that performance is not valued here nearly enough, there are still many who try to be as productive as possible?

Why not just leave? All the major banks are hiring.

I have said this repeatedly about this company promoting average performers and managers. I feel if you perform average you are the one that will get the promotion. This company is filled with empty suit mutherfockas from the CEO on down. I really just show up to this shlithole just for the free lunch they are doing now. Once the free lunch ends I will be using my sick time. I HATE THIS FCKING BANK!!!!!
