Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Meta laying off 13% of its staff

Twitter laid off 50%.

Some other companies had non-minor layoffs.

Cisco hasn't had any layoff for some time. Above companies are in a different market segment. I hope that saves us.

My team has been so strapped for people the past few months because of “no headcount available”. So I don’t think we have any space to cut. 😆

May it be possible that your whole team will let go?

It's lively on their board: https://www.thelayoff.com/facebook

I briefly checked out Twitter's and Facebook's thelayoff boards. There is so much hate and schadenfreude from people who don't work for these companies.

We never had here anything like this. I would love to believe that this is because the world loves us. The truth is Cisco becoming more and more irrelevant. Nobody would notice us going out of business.
