Let’s say you’re the CEO and one day during a town hall you split and tell the entire company that that they’re too old and we need younger employees.
Next you perform layoffs targeting your older employees. It’s easy to do if you simply say the job has moved to Dallas.
Lastly, you roll out a strict 5 day RTO in buildings that lack basic needs like desks. Except for the younger employees, they don’t have to report 5 days and have their own desks. It’s easy to see then because they’re all in one organization.
Would this be considered discrimination?
Would people who lost their jobs as a result of these practices have a right to damages?
