Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

ATT reps are the worst! We upgraded 2 phones and sent the 2 old phones back via the packaging T sent to us. They only credited us for 1 phone. If I pay off one of the phones early, the phone that they currently apply a monthly credit to, I lose the credits. They still haven’t found the 2nd phone and refuse any customer service. I need out of ATT and I will make it my personal life goal to steer people away from them.

I heard Verizon and T-mob is looking to hire some AT&T employees, you sound like a good candidate. Win-Win, AT&T becomes less bloated and you get to work for your hero’s.

The difference in service quality is like night and day. When I switched to Visible by Verizon, the phone instantly went from sounding like a CB radio where only one person could transmit at a time to full duplex, pin-drop level service like a landline. Oh and the only difference on data is the fact that the data is free now. Makes me ashamed of where I work.

Hope you don’t travel in rural areas because you will experience signal loss. There is a reason why T-mob can continue to offer free phones and great promo rates. AT&T is much more than just a cell phone provider and have larger coverage.

Yeah I'll be curious to see. I'm not too worried though. We are big road trippers and have been all over the country and have had issues in various places with AT&T, sometimes no signal at all so we are kind of used to randomly losing it in more rural places or in the mountains. And honestly even locally, my wife used to work a town over and at her work and this whole stretch around her work, the signal was so bad the entire 10 yrs she worked there. It's been awhile since we've been over there but it definitely happened with AT&T too. I'll just be curious to see how T-Mobile compares.

The reason TMob can offer steep discounts is because they don’t have the dividend payout T does, the debt or the slow movement from an outdated management structure.
