The corporate culture here is tone deaf and ruthless. It is time to accept the reality that the situation at Wells Fargo is beyond repair. It is never going to get better for employees. Charlie is never going to stop cutting costs, cutting employees, short staffing departments and outsourcing/offshoring jobs. You are either:
- going to get laid off, or
- have the great privilege to keep your job and do the work of 5 people for zero recognition
One of the biggest success factors for people is knowing when enough is enough and when to walk away. Staying too long at a company you do not respect, and a company who does not respect its employees, will have a negative impact on your reputation and personal development. Don’t work every day for a toxic leadership team whose morals and longterm goals do not align with yours.
