Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Anyone familiar with the Military Apprentice Program?

If so, any insight on how to deal with the mandated 8 hour period the program mandates you can work vs. you being expected to work 12 hours a day?

That’s a challenge but also not receiving any real support or guidance from your management if you have a question about almost anything. My manager is aware that the program mandates I can only work 8 hours, but she continues to give and more work, without real clear guidance, and when I ask for clarity she can never take 5 minutes to explain what she’s asking for.

I’m already at the 1 year of service in my role and was thinking of applying for another role because she makes my job more difficult.

Nope but you're saying is that program states you can't work a minute over 8 hours for an exempt position? What kind of BS is that?

Apply for a different role if you're qualified. If you're only supposed to work 8 hrs-- then work 8 hrs. If sh-t doesn't get done, it doesn't get done. Management won't do jack sh*t if people keep talking up the slack and doing more with less.

This ain't the military-- you aren't going to get court martialed for disobeying an order.

If your leader can't be bothered to do their job as a leader then do what you can and that's it.
