I'm not here to argue politics and if it is right or wrong, just the consequences of Verizon continuing to outsource a large percentage of its workforce to places like India.
Today, the labor secretary alluded to going after companies that outsource labor just like they have been going after foreign manufacturing to bring those jobs to the US. What will be the impact if Verizon suddenly sees restrictions or much higher expenses for all the workforce they sourced overseas?
It isn't like this administration gives these companies time to plan and adapt. Decisions seem to be made on a whim and change on a weekly basis. Will Hans bring more jobs back or fudge numbers of where workers are from? Will he simply rebadge them to other companies and just pay for their services?
