Just like at APC. We hit $110 a share and then went into freefall. Wound up floundering in the $40's till we were bought. Our debt wasn't the same but if VH keeps paying it down as a focus, you will start looking attractive for someone who wants part of your assets. A 20% premium barely gets you over $50. Sad...

And at the same time the CEO gets rewarded and the stockholders get sc--wed. This company has a very low bar for performance.

Oxy operates like a corporate black hole—swallowing companies whole, only to watch their acquired value vanish within a few short years. This pattern has led to widespread job losses in the thousands. Sooner or later, the karma of their actions will catch up with them.
