Renovations mean safe or “Go Forward Store”?
Does renovations like replacing bad carpet and other neglected parts of the store mean that the store is safe? I only ask this question even though it seems like an obvious answer because I’ve seen and heard reports or closure rumors of stores with these said renovations.
I mean financially it doesn’t make sense to me to put money into a store that you’re going to close anyway…

Just like at APC. We hit $110 a share and then went into freefall. Wound up floundering in the $40's till we were bought. Our debt wasn't the same but if VH keeps paying it down as a focus, you will start looking attractive for someone who wants part of your assets. A 20% premium barely gets you over $50. Sad...

Leaders are overwhelmed and not sharing updates about a “big announcement” coming this month. There is no structure or strategic plans in place. People keep getting moved around. No hiring outside the dept. Development plans are being forced on employees. WTF

Two rounds of layoffs
End of Q3 we will see first round of layoffs impacting enterprise group, which will include some architects, CL's, squad leads.
There's too much chatter going on to ignore, these are no longer rumors but confirmed cuts.
Q1 2026 will have another round of layoffs with summer street location moved to WTC.
If Fido doesn't reduce Boston count by at least 550, there will not be enough space for individuals, even with alternate week schedule.
No layoffs in the land department, but there are lot of #rumors about it
