From everything I’ve seen, the only real criterion was the bottom line, which usually means we’ve lost a disproportionate amount of talent. A lot of teams are going to be even more crippled than before. I’m not exactly looking forward to all of us having to pick up even more work to cover the roles that just disappeared.

I enjoyed working with all the citrites for almost a decade. Now I'm out and looking for a better future for myself. Severance payment day is not clear, BTW.
