Reps are done.

@2b6 as long as people are taking those jobs, it appears to be working! They are preying on peoples feelings of desperation, why are people supposed? They have worked backwards since they split from
Kraft, taking away employee benefits all while we have a CEO who was identified as having the most out of touch salary with employees. They also bought a new headquarters in Chicago with everything fancy to be more trendy? Nobody cares, most employees work remote and these people should not be behind a desk where nothing happens, rather in the field where everything happens. Most out of touch organization. My brokerage firm “suggested” I sell my stock and I did, made me almost nothing. Replaced it with a stock they recommended that we got at 125 and is up to 480 in one year. That’s called growth! Gets people excited, nothing about Mondelez is exciting, not even the flavors of Oreo anymore!
@1rz For real NO overtime for RTM? They are trying to get people to work for free
I remember hearing from an RVP saying that we don't pay for quality... as in employees. What they forget is that includes them too haha.
@21x RVP here. I drank your tears when I fired you. Good riddance
@q0 if you believe them, wanna buy some land from me in Florida? I also have a bridge for sale!
Our RVP called a meeting of SR’s to tell us the rumors of layoffs, years ago, was untrue. Haha! Three weeks later the company laid off 1/3 of all sales reps. Lying is second nature to these people! Special kind of people, there’s a special place in he-l for them too! People’s lives depend on their jobs, freedom and hosting their families. No moral compass at all. Karma is a real bi--h.
@125 There is NO overtime for RTM's. Just another way to sc--w you.
@169 exactly what happened to me. They will lie to your face knowing what’s about to happen.
Guarantee RTMwill be salary with no OT, when someone quits, you’ll be covering their stores until YOU find someone else, then you will have to train them, then they will probably quit in a few weeks and you’ll be back at it again, meaning you’re at 55 hours for the week and getting paid for 40. Don’t forget scheduling and all the ftows that will be complaining to you as well…. Then you’ll be responsible for any store complaints and following up etc
RTM position sounds like a nightmare. How much more do they pay compared to the SR position?
To those in the northeast region that do stay on and take RTM roles, please make sure this “pilot” fails. that way the rest of the country doesn’t have to suffer as well, and they can revert you back to the old ways of doing things.
@125 that's my thought, the merchandisers we do have cannot order well at all, and we are understaffed to begin with. Our team was told last year thr goal was have reps writing as many as possible.
I used to work in Great lakes region. They also said everyone's job was safe a few years ago. Then we got calls from HR saying we were laid off in a month.
RMS didn't get offered severance? Why??
What's BS is reps get offered severance but RMS do not. I don't know all the details but I hope the overtime still kicks in after 40 because I believe there's not enough merchandising to avoid RTM working 50 plus hours a week to complete tasks
@jz Jon Morris
@m4 RMS are out they reserved a territory close to their house and they can apply for Mkt. Trainer job.
@v0 you won’t get paid overtime but you will work over time every week unfortunately. Get ready for those 60 hour work weeks.
This change makes sense.
Bump in pay for us reps moving to RTM.
Learning curve will be high.
No more overtime.
No more running to RMS for every little problem (like I used to do).
I never wanted to manage people but here we are
@rc I agree. JM thanked North Atlantic for “piloting” changes. The other markets will change.
This is how mission one started, slowly but surely this will be implemented across the country
@m0 no changes here
We had a call in Great lakes region. No layoffs, No structure changes. So it's not happening everywhere.
@mq those people that were “legitimately shocked” won’t have a job. They give a heads up and options to move positions to those they like. If they didn’t know, they are goners! Once the dust settles you’ll know who knew.
Fewer territories= fewer reps plus they give you choices of territories to apply for with 40 miles of you house
@mq was it business as usual up until the call? Had your team just hired any new reps recently?
@m8 I have no idea. There are a lot of people in management up here that had no idea this was even happening and were legitimately shocked.
@m6 is this rolling out nationally, or just in the north east region?
@m4 RMS’s are getting offered new market trainer job and RTM jobs
Am I hearing this right? RMS’s getting laid off and replaced by new sales positions?
@k9 any update?
We have our call today. Guess we're next
@jz Jon Morris did a town hall
What all regions has had this confirmed?
I've seen north east and north Atlantic so far. Any others?
I'm in the south (Georgia) area and was told it wont effect us.
Who did the call?
North Atlantic had calls Monday morning and we're told on call
Every change is for the worse. You've got to be an id--t not to take the severance and just deal w these structure changes every few years.
@de great acting, they knew!
People had to work really hard to not see this coming! It’s been on the horizon a very long time! They will and have protected the ones they like. Horrible people to work for!
I know in my territory the DM should be the one to go. He has no idea what he is doing. He definitely didn’t get the job because of his work ethic.
It taught us more about slaves than anything else!
Je-k!!
Did they announce it on a town hall? We have a town hall tomorrow in Great lakes region
