Israeli employees are being offered retirement packages, what about us?

I am in the US, am retirement-eligible, and have been notified I'm being laid off.
What I'm being offered is the standard severance package plus anything that retirees are normally eligible to receive. It's not an enhanced/early retirement package but there are a couple of extra perks. Here are the only things I've found that matter.
- Retirees get a pro-rated 2023 APB paid out in 2024. Non-retirees get nothing unless their last day of employment is in Q2 - Q4, which is outside of the current layoff targets.
- Retirees get accelerated RSU vesting based on their specific retirement eligibility.
Unionize? 🤣
It's time to unionize folks.
Corporations will f@ck on to you as much as the law will allow. Some countries protect their workers much better than the US does.
Why do you care??? Het yours and go have fun. Never do comparison because of different laws and regulations.
Christi mentioned no retirement packages.
Maybe to do with their local l employment laws.
