Cuts are always on the Wednesday of a pay week and no they won't be done until every American is gone. Congratulations you survived this round, but start making preparations and better yourself, because you might not survive the next one.
The only thing the leaders know at this point is layoffs. If it hasn’t happened yet, it’s going to happen soon. If you have been with the company for a long time, may make sense to wait for severance. Unless you have a better offer and want some mental health.

I am actually happy that I was finally laid off in 2024! I would hate to still be there stressing about when they would finally lay me off.
And thankfully, I found a better job 5 months later. That pays me $17K+ more than I was making before!
@OP they usually concentrate the cuts in one day… non so if you weren’t hit, you’re probably safe
