@n5 this made me chuckle because you’re so right. About CA, MC AND DW!! DW is very self absorbed and the devil herself. CA has competition with the level of evil.
I hope when they jam that place with all of the people on the grant that the windows open so people can breathe from all of the cheap cologne people wear.
What happens when the grant runs out, no more funding and loss of jobs. There is no long term gain from accepting a job there. It is officially a call centre with no growth regardless of what they say. They now have people reporting in from the field only to work them out of the company.
With all of this said, I have to remind myself that we won’t be there in another year. Wall Street knows and they aren’t wrong.
@m8 wow! That's going to be a bustling spot, particularly with the big sales expansion they've got coming as per the Opportunities NB post. You know the one that they had to disable commenting on so all the su-kers don't know what they are getting into.
And what's the point of anyone's face other than CA being on that post, especially that thing from the other side. I suppose she'd have a fit if they didn't include her.
I believe the mandatory return to office (on the Xerox side) is the knowledge Centre in Saint John…reference to CA and MC
@kq and don’t forget to have employee of the month/quarter parking signs made like it is a true reward. Total joke.
@k9 got it, thanks. Never understood the higher title with what they were doing. Thought they just came in for shelter in place and coordinate pothole fixes
@a5 Exactly. Take it away and you quit. No severance.
@gf They don't really want you back in the office and they will not acquire office space. They really want you to quit, and if you don't, you will be provided with 2 square feet of existing space to sit in all day.
@gk rhymes with bike
@fz MC? Hint please?
A good idea to raise xerox cost and reduce profits. Xerox cut lots of building space. Real estate typically costs 10% of all costs. Brilliant idea when the company is not profitable let’s add cost. Brilliant leaders.
@f7 the managers are so afraid to make any sort of decisions. When you hear that they won’t approach them because she’s not in a good mood on any given day that’s an issue. Then there is MC who does the commissions. What exactly does he do if commissions have been streamlined? Seriously. Why is the cost of his salary being paid, he does nothing.
@f8 guess they will need to lease some space. Nearest office to me is 2 hours away. Lol.
@ej Execs in Lexington look over a sea of empty cubes.
@at believe what ya want. It's happening
@ax It is true....WFH for the majority was less effective (since life gets in the way). Managers cannot manage with SLT running the show and making managers powerless in Saint John NB. Managers could not make a move without three approvals from SLT, who are on a power trip (and are the cause for Xerox becoming dead).
@az if your hoping that new “legacy Lexmark” leaders will encourage WFH — that isn’t going to happen. Lexmark leaders have for a long time believed and even stated in town halls that they believe workers produce less when unsupervised. They say we need more in person collaborating as a reasoning for supporting in the office.
Nope
@aj and closing as many more they can
@ax no they leave at 5. There are only a couple of leaders that get to leave at 4. Hopefully that will change with the new leadership.
Saint John office…instead of managing the ones who didn’t work from home and did god knows what they punished everyone by making everyone go back to the office. They said it was for “collaboration”. If you go to the office nobody talks to each other. Zero collaboration.
It’s a power trip move and the SLT won’t be in the office and if they are leave at 4 after hiding all day ignoring the staff.
I don't believe its true. they want to close offices..
Better not, golf season is coming.
Sc--w them, can beat them join them.
I doubt they'll try it, but if they do it'll just be a way to try to get people to quit. Personally I'll just not follow any RTO mandate if there was one.
won’t work in the UK, they have hardly any offices left
I left many years ago, but I've heard from friends still there there has been a push for years to get everybody back in the office. But nothing ever happened.
It is the only reason I am still here.
oh really? where's this?
