New Medicaid work requirements start Jan 1

This is what Centene is bracing for. We are already down in membership and this will definitely TANK the Medicaid LOB starting in January. Will the states be ready for this? What is the company doing to prepare for this change besides laying people off?

Will Meg be Transformative or a Caretaker placeholder at BP

Meg joined BP with a lot of fanfare from media and industry group. The employees appear to admire and hope that she is a change agent who will bring about stability, profitability and a sense of purpose to a fragmented and often troubled company.

Will Meg deliver the goods? The company appears to have the same initiatives as MA did and she stood up the same BL and MA actors..”leaders” when will surgical cuts start appearing when will teams be right sized?

"mixshift" seems like not so much a reinvention after all

This is from 1999 when we saw share prices drop by 24 percent just wondered if they dusted this off from an old set of meeting minutes..it feel awful familiar.

"In April, Thoman unveiled a plan to remake Xerox’s image as a technology company instead of a copier maker. The shift, which involves realigning the sales force, is designed to let Xerox sell customized packages of consulting services, software and machines that the company says will generate half its revenue in the next decade."

Rate of Change

When will ELT and Sr Leaders slow down the type and quantity of change they are shoving down our throats?! I understand that change is required in any organization, but for fcks sake give us a change to digest these changes and understand them before you dump more on us!

Change fatigue is real, and is the main reason I want to leave but probably won't because of the amount of $$ I have wrapped up in my LP. Plus, I don't want the tax hit from having to sell it if I leave and work for a competing firm.

But seriously... just fckng leave us alone for a hot minute.

RCS Townhall - hard to watch

What happened to sales? Not a single person could speak without reading a script. Can any of them be authentic like SV? Just speak naturally instead of something you clearly know nothing about.

One of the regional heads in the USA spoke for 10mins about a deal when she seemed to have NO understanding of either the deal or the client. It was brutal. And the head of DSS for gods sake just kept going nonstop.

It was refreshing to see the head of client solutions speak from the heart and provide real facts instead of reading from script.

Please Change this org. They cut engineering but not this? Shame!

New Announcements Today about new plans

Well, with all the changes coming to the promotions and plans, I really hope the things turn around.

I think the changes are remarkable and will bring the real value.

But.....

The team that is handling the front end websites and links, you guys are sc--wing over verizon.

The link shared by Dan on LinkedIn currently routes to a 404 error page.

Furthermore, the website navigation is highly confusing; broken links are common, and refreshing pages inconsistently switches pricing between $30/line and $45/line. Finally, several phone selection options appear interactive but are entirely unclickable.

Stock Market Signs

On a day when the Nasdaq was up 3%, OTEX was down. That’s a major warning sign that institutional ownership and interest is poor. A rising tide should float all ships. The market isn’t buying the OT story. The upticks since earnings have dissipated. The upticks from stock buybacks have disappeared.

No sales of the non-core business units = no ability to pay down the debt. Best of luck to all my friends still hanging on (most of my colleagues of 15+ years are gone). There has to be some major changes or the long term outlook is a continued slow sinking of the SS Barrenechea.

I would take the VSP

I can't take the constant stress of worrying about layoffs anymore. I even convinced myself, foolishly, that working hard might help me keep my job. It's strange how our minds turn against us when we're backed into a corner. A change of scenery, even a forced, prolonged holiday, would help me break free from that trap.

Valiant effort El Segundo

Mattel watching the MOTU train sunset Not advertising MOTU and racing an Amazon truck through a scene didn’t help anyone, including Bezos. Only difference is, Bezos still has money. Move most of your doll line to collector only. There she can flourish as she’s meant to. Open shelf space for a new way to play. It’s not just about toys anymore. Children have evolved. Toy companies need to evolve with them. The madness of creating the same pink junk over and over expecting a new outcome is just that. Madness.

And so it begins…

Meg just announced the structure of the new Organisation

“From )1 July, we will move to an Upstream and Downstream operating model, replacing our current structure of Production & Operations (P&O), Gas & Low Carbon Energy (G&LCE), and Customer & Products (C&P).”

Now - here is where the jokers lay:

GB is now “EVP, Upstream”
RH is “interim” EVP, Downstream

These are the only two gents listed so far…

Hybrid Policy

Any news on the hybrid policy and potential changes to it? I’ve heard rumors, but they swirl all the time. I feel like it was this time last year they made some significant changes.

With costs continuing to rise, all associates who weren’t lucky enough to be allowed to continue to work from home for one reason or another (seems like the rules change depending on who you are) are suffering.

As an associate who was hired to work from home, I am trying to wrap my mind around what the company is trying to accomplish. I do not see a whole lot of collaborating going on in the office - in fact most associates are sitting in cubicles on top of each other, all on different calls.
