I keep getting job cancellation emails from this place for most/all positions I applied for! What's going on in the Atlanta office? Has anyone new joined this year?

@v4 Accenture is basically an off-shoring company -- and offshoring is another example of a macro trend (like AI) that doesn't take just 2 years. It's gradual.
@tt keep thinking that way. And guess you have never heard about Accenture.
@ha very true. That is why all the people whining about not being able to work from home will have their jobs gone. Just shows your employer YOU aren’t needed. They can hire elsewhere for less money. But keep complaining.
It’s called the economy.
@ha They said Tellers would be gone when the ATM was invented like 30-years ago. I wouldn't be so confident AI will take most jobs in 2 years...
Truist can't even have a functionally merged bank in 5-years post-merger ffs.
Most positions are given to underperforming drinking buddies. Good luck
Microsoft buying out 7% of workforce. Companies don’t want human beings, they want AI. Hope everyone has a lot of stock.
AI spending is very very real. Most jobs will be cut in the next 2 years. Your friend that’s been unemployed for 4 years…there isn’t anything wrong with them. AI is taking over. FOR REAL.
@ay This is true. Truist often posts evergreen jobs. You can see if the job is evergreen if you go into your application portal after you apply, or asking the recruiter before you apply. They'll tell you. I do it all the time.
We cant even get hires to replace those who departed.
Wait until late summer tbh
I recall reading somewhere themat companies often put up fake job postings to make it look like they are hiring a lot of personnel to make the shareholders think everything is better than things really are.
