Thread regarding USAA layoffs

April Awareness

The company I complain about giving me zero psychological safety rolled out their bi-annual update to pulse, as they have for the last decade. Also this is my weekly reminder that my fraud director had a full calendar today and that also means we’re getting laid off. Tell me your thoughts now a destroy the usefulness of this community some more!

Does anyone know the real reason why weekly sales goals went away in P&C inbound sales department? Was it because they we wanted employees with FMLA to give a few days notice before using FMLA so the absence won’t affect their individual sales goals? Not everyone on FMLA can give a few days notice before using FMLA

@c1 what you’re describing is unemployment. There’s a path for that if your gentle mental health is that fragile that leaving your home causes so much harm to your mental health. Unemployment is what you’re describing.

@c1 they care as much as 12 30 min sessions per year as long as you’re willing to pay your monthly premium

If usaa cared about mental health, they would allow work from home whenever we feel like it.

@ag I’m starting to see that USAA is a company with toxic employees and maybe they aren’t the villains, just trying to root out these toxic employees

I guess I’ve never entertained relying on a company in 2026 for my mental health or wellbeing. This is how much they care: the free 12 thirty minute session they offer a year when you pay them for healthcare coverage.

USAA has zero regard for mental health. They talk a big game when it comes to pushing their shady products on those in the military, but after leaving that cesspool of a company I can see why an employee committed su----e on campus and others have come in brandishing we-pons. USAA is a toxic company.
