Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

Odd Recent Layoffs

Someone I know was let go for continuously clogging toilets in Biggs. I was told this by someone on the People Team that would know. And no they didn’t clog them the way you think, but rather they were caught flushing wads of paper towels and plastic ware from the cafeteria. Very strange and she didn’t go into details how they knew it was person, but they were able to nail down who it was. Has anyone else heard about this yet?! Apparently the perp was doing it for a couple months and then got really brazen when they started dropping spoons and forks in the toilets.

@g7 what's the saying? Boss maes a dollar I make a dime I'm gonna ** on company time?

But yeah I mean sitting in traffic to the office minimum 1 hour (doesn't matter if I left the house at 6am or anytime after until 9 am) kinda makes me have to go about 30 minutes after logging in each day and again like an hour before logging off to drive home. Maybe stress from driving, gas prices, trying to manage office and hybrid days .etc when upper management doesn't have or follow the same strict requirements as us worker bees.

So yeah, post COVID's several changes to the RTO policy really messed up my and many others schedules. Before COVID 5 days in office, it would be almost right after lunch every day.

I bet this person was also a “toilet badger”. You know, swipe in, stuff a few toilets and then leave.

Something very wrong with Charlotte. Maybe they’re closing the wrong location.

@OP I heard the toilet(s) were clogged with actual fe-ces and not just toilet paper. I spoke with a building maintenance guy & he said it stunk & was gross due to low water pressure.

"Odd Recent Layoffs" sounds like a misnomer. That je-k was likely fired; not laid off.
