Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

FT and IAN

I wonder how he feels now that FT took CS back and will likely take everything else back. I remember that he was preaching this as a huge opportunity and saying that it will be great. Well...

@18z careful investigation and three sources confirm that it was Mike Greene.

@11m Who was that person who was with him? And if you can't say here, how can I check who that is?

@OP wonders how he feels about laying off his immediate direct report, who appeared in a Teams meeting with him, about four weeks ago, to advise the remaining Franklin Templeton legacy employees, expecting to be laid off with severance, that they would be bailing out another fund company. This would possibly be short term, possibly permanent (bye bye severance) with two weeks of training before having to hit the ground running, They were both pretty smug. All of those affected employees did the math when this last week, this name appeared on the list of most recent layoffs. Ian might just be next. Wonder how he feels about that? He would probably end up back at Franklin.

@e3 yes, still SVP, he should be very pleased with his ability to ruin the lives of everyone on the front line who believes his lies about how important they are. They are critical to the success of his projects or Project Condor. And when no longer critical they are discarded or Project Dolphin. If, in the meantime, he discovers a need which furthers his career, but disrupts their lives, he will lie again that he needs them or Project Unknown. See a pattern? Those subjected to it repeatedly sure do. Ian gets the accolades, executive pay and bonuses off the backs of those held hostage by his plans. That's how he is, he is great.

@c1 Is he still at the same position of SVP? How is he doing? Any new exciting projects for him? I can't check that anymore for obvious reasons.

@a6 Franklin Templeton (FT) and Senior Vice President Ian McCoy. Ian led the move from FT to FIS. The move back wasn't so lucky for everyone except for Ian. It worked out great for him.
