we've "become" ?? it's more than a joke, destroying the lingering legacy of the cable nets, bidding goodbye to a late night institution, and a full on clown show at cbs news. Sad all the way around, but the writing has been on the wall.
HR gives you the severance if you leave on your own terms. As has been said in the past, indeed there is a rolling layoff severance structure - to avoid legal claims & they can afford it
