Have decisions already been made for notifications later this month?

They know and already have the list from HR. They are not supoaed to say anything. Remember Stanky said they don't owe you loyalty.

My org in the SE have second tier managers scrambling to keep their jobs. They are making first tier managers work 2 hours over at least twice a week without pay of course, as punishment for their teams not selling enough. It’s not like we don’t sell, our group has always been High achievers, it’s the economy. We have been told over and over that we are going to be a hub, but I don’t believe that anymore. It’s just too much that’s not making sense.

@b9 correct. Some of it will also be the people who were locked out a couple weeks ago. At least you were given fair warning.

@b1 This is true but those people represent a small percentage of the June layoff. It goes well beyond those rejected the relocation. Most org's and teams will see 10% reduction unless enough people in those groups said no to relocation or decided to retire.

We've known in my group for a while. They said its the people who are not working in a key network location, have been informed where they need to report too, but they are choosing to be laid off instead.

“ An early indicator was also provided if your account was locked out unexpectedly a couple weeks back. Accounts on the surplus list were deactivated early in error.“

This is a complete fabrication that one or 2 hardos here love to keep perpetuating. It isn’t true.

We made lists but haven’t been told the scope of the reduction.

@ac Absolute nonsense. My AVP and director both had their accounts locked. Neither of them are going anywhere.

We're all going to eventually be off the payroll as soon as the company thinks they can get away with getting rid of us.

If your account was locked out unexpectedly a couple weeks back, consider yourself warned.

They already know who they want out. That being said, sometimes it comes down from the top or hr and your boss has no input. That does happen, typically with larger layoffs like what this is rumored to be.

My groups known for weeks. It’s the people who were told to report to a key network location but they’ve chosen to not relocate.

Seems to be a lot of managers claiming to have no information. Either that means their groups are not affected or they are going to be handed a list in 2 weeks that they did not have any input on, and they themselves may also be on that list. I can never tell when they are lying to me by policy or truly just in the dark.

If you have a good manager you already know if you’re impacted. If not and you get your notice on Friday 6/12, pi$$ on them.

The one thing we are capable and timely at is making layoff lists.
