This is excruciating not knowing really what to do. I feel like it's all a game. Spin the wheel or pass and hope you pick the right curtain. We live paycheck to paycheck as it is. Gosh if I was a zillionair I would give up most of my salary first to save jobs for others who literally need the money. I don't understand why one would think they need that much money. You could not take that many vacations or buy enough cars anyway so why just why are ppl so freaking greedy. You can't take it with you when your gone. Just so torn and literally having too many heart palpitations over this game show. This is unbelievable!

@dh in Tanya’s email, it states that anyone impacted by involuntary layoffs will receive severance.
in this economy, I’m not offering myself up to be unemployed. AI being involved in the hiring process is why thousands of people are struggling to secure a new role.
I’m taking my chances and if I’m cut, then so be it.
I am wondering if you choose not the take the VSP and end up on the chopping block anyways, will they still give you some kind of Severance Pay? Or are they gonna just give you the boot?
@bk I know it will be completed July 15 - thats why I said 3.5 weeks - as of the day I replied it would be a 3.5 week wait.

Just know we are all literally in this together and I am not sure how many religious ppl are in these forums but God only gives us what we can handle !! Whatever comes our way, we will be ok, and more than likely eventually better than we are now….. keep the faith and let God be our path
Yes. Just realized yesterday that it will be a 3.5 week waiting period just for th epeople that applied to know if they got approved or denied. Then if you didn't it becomes endless days/weeks of everyday not knowing if you will be on the involuntary list of RIFs. Just another 2023 Media Leak layoff all dressed up to appear more "empathic and transparent". Even after they got called out on that layoff they still made people wait 2 weeks when they already knew who they were cutting. This company gives zero f**ks about us.
It’s almost like unions are a good thing, especially in the age of AI. The oligarchs hate them.
