July 4th firework is happening
This seems to be correct. There will be layoffs, but the reorganization will be much more significant. Starts with sales and PS, but will affect most organizations. Major changes coming.
The information is quite limited as they have learned from experiences in the past. Therefore there is now only small group with the knowledge and all under very strict NDAs. Also it is not only about layoffs, it is much bigger – there is a big reorganisation of structure and the way we go to market with project “Green Monster”. We expect to see a lot of the 1600 lay offs already in early July, then the structure announcements during kick-off and some changes in ELT which should be effective by end of July.
It's the week before July 13 for the cuts
3-6 people in total will be let go
I was on a team call the other day where one of my colleagues pressed our director about this. She (My colleague) was pretty deft, I have to say. The director said that there would absolutely be a reorg, and said it'll likely happen on or around kickoff in the middle of July but really didn't know anything. This one's an OT lifer, so I find that surprising.
Sounded like our VP didn't know either, which I find astonishing.
I don't think there are changes, no one has a firm date and everyone is just speculating
If anything was happening then we would have a date now like we did in March
No one has a clue or anyone worth listening too is sharing anything.
