Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Bloomberg: chief executives are feeling especially unloved these days.

You can Google it I'm not posting a link.

I got a crack out of the article. CEOs should tell us more about how they're moving jobs overseas, decimating the workforce with AI, while accepting larger and larger bonuses.

  • A significant shift in sentiment has made the job of running a company tougher, with CEOs complaining they are overworked, overstressed and subjected to endless scrutiny.
The rise of political populism and volatile shifts in trade policy have contributed to the decline in admiration for CEOs, with polls showing they are no longer as admired as they once were.*

Charlie makes ~$125,000 a day, every day (weekends included) and got a 40% raise last year. Yet, everyone on my team was told there would be 0 merit increases and 0 cost of living adjustments because times are tough. Yeah, I can see why they aren't 'feeling the love'.

CEOs crying " boo- hoo" because no one loves them anymore? They want to be adored and worshipped as Gods because that is what they believe themselves to be and that isn't sarcasm, it's the truth. They're stressed because they work hard? Do they work harder than the underpaid tellers in a branch who have to deal with the public or any other position that scrutinizes every move they make? Even if they do, it's not 30 million dollars of harder work verses someone making $22.00 an hour. These people are insufferable and belong to a class of monsters that most people couldn't even begin to imagine.

Most CEOs are megalomaniac psychopaths.

They're paid hundreds of times what their average employees are paid, they should be subjected to at least hundreds of times more scrutiny. If they don't like it, they can find something new.
