Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What is the latest status on virtuals?

Did the 6/15 surplus notice mainly target virtuals or those in hubs equally impacted? Did being in a hub such as Dallas provide any meaningful protection?

What is the latest status on virtuals? Also is everyone in the clear until the new Plano HQ opens? What happens once the Plano HQ opens? Are relocation notices going to increase then?

Lots of virtuals still in CSO and other orgs. No one is valuable for this company. They all just worked hard to be visible.

Everyone is not in the clear. This will continue for a while.

I guess the guy always mad about virtuals saw the stock price today and got his pa-ties in a bunch.

We’ve been telling you the c-suite is all clown show and to just sell that junk AT&T stock.

You know when you finally dump that garbage you can buy actual valuable companies with it, right?
Since you held T so long though you must not be very bright, so probably best to just stick with VOO or some ETF/index fund.

Sorry about your retirement bro.

Lots of people in hubs hit, none of the virtuals I work with were effected, including myself.

RTO was a soft layoff, it had nothing to do with any of the goals stated by management.

The ones who were valuable and negotiated themselves virtual didn’t have to relocate, others did.

It is what it is, get over it.
RTO should have never happened, if you wanted virtual you should have refused to relocate.

No rhyme nor reason. Still many virtual and non-virtual at a hub also impacted.
