Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

1500 plus initiative, is this possible? Just trying to wrap my head around this.. I understand change is going to happen but his last two years, whoa... JS..

Thinking Mission Simplify has started off strong with the VSP acceptance rate..

@a2, best of luck to you. I've been applying to many places too, and it's been tougher than expected. Some days I feel my skills may need an update; other days I wonder if it's just the challenges that come with getting older. I been here over 15 years.

Tomorrow is expected to be a challenging day for the Centene VSP i am hearing that a 15–20% reduction fdue to impact associated with the "Big Beautiful Bill."

@a3 It usually varies by company, department, and line of business. I haven't heard an official number, but lots on this forum are saying numbers like 5-15%.

Has anyone actually found out how much of the workforce is being cut and when the layoffs will really start?

I guarantee some of us will be called back. a good handful were after the 2023 layoff.

if they call me to come back, my conditions are as follows:

• I’m not paying back a dime of the VSP
• they can give me the title I ask for and
• 50% pay increase

if “no can do”, then I “no can do” too. tuh!
